Account Deletion Request

4Gear users can request deletion of their account and associated personal data at any time.

How to request account deletion

You can request account deletion from the 4Gear app or by email.

From the 4Gear app

Open the 4Gear app, go to Profile, open Account actions, and choose Request account deletion.

By email

Send an email to support@4gearbooking.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request".

  • Your registered phone number
  • Your registered email address, if any
  • Your full name
  • Your account type: customer, vehicle owner, service provider, or admin

What data will be deleted

After verifying your request, we will delete or anonymise:

  • Your profile details, such as name, phone number, email address, city and account role
  • Saved device notification tokens
  • Non-essential profile preferences
  • Non-essential uploaded profile or listing data where legally allowed

Data we may retain

Some records may be retained where required for legal, safety, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, tax, accounting, payment settlement, or compliance purposes. This may include:

  • Booking records
  • Payment and settlement records
  • Invoices, commission and payout records
  • KYC, owner verification and fraud-prevention records
  • Support, complaint, dispute and safety-related records
  • Records required by Razorpay, Firebase, Google Play, law enforcement or applicable law

Retention period

Account deletion requests are usually processed within 7 working days after verification. Certain legal, payment, tax, settlement, dispute, fraud-prevention or compliance records may be retained for as long as required by applicable law or legitimate business requirements.

After account deletion

After your account is deleted:

  • You may lose access to your booking history, owner dashboard, service listings and notifications
  • Active bookings, pending payments, refunds, disputes or settlements may need to be completed before deletion is finalised
  • You may need to create a new account if you want to use 4Gear again
