This policy applies to customers, partners and vehicle owners who use the 4Gear app, website and related services.

Information We Collect

• Name, phone number, email address, gender if provided, role or account type, city and state.
• Current location, pickup location, destination location, business location and vehicle owner location where needed for booking or discovery.
• Route, distance, estimated fare, booking category, selected vehicle, date, time, booking status, OTP status, payment status and transaction references.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging token, device data, app data and technical logs needed for notifications, safety, support and app operation.
• Vehicle listing photos, vehicle documents, business details, pricing and availability.
• Payout KYC data including legal name, business email, PAN, bank account details, IFSC, address, city, state, PIN code, Razorpay Route account IDs, product IDs, stakeholder IDs and masked PAN or bank details.

Location Data

4Gear uses location data to show nearby bikes, autos, cars and pickup vehicles. Location data helps calculate route, distance, estimated fare, availability and vehicle matching. Some features may not work correctly without location access.

Partner Documents and Media

Vehicle owners may upload documents, vehicle photos, pricing, location and business details for approval, safety review, listing quality and fraud prevention.

Payment and Payout Data

Payments may be processed through trusted third-party payment partners such as Razorpay. 4Gear does not store full card, UPI or banking credentials. KYC and payout data may be shared with Razorpay or Razorpay Route for verification, settlement, compliance, fraud prevention and payout processing.

How We Use Information

• To create and manage customer and vehicle owner accounts.
• To verify phone numbers through Firebase phone OTP login.
• To process bookings, OTP start flows, payments and support requests.
• To show nearby bikes, autos, cars and pickup vehicles.
• To calculate route, distance, estimated fare and partner receivable amounts.
• To verify vehicle owners, listings, documents, media and payout details.
• To send booking, payment and account notifications.
• To prevent fraud, misuse, duplicate accounts and unsafe activity.
• To meet legal, tax, dispute, payment, payout and compliance requirements.
• To improve the app, website, vehicle booking quality and customer support.

Third-Party Services

4Gear may use trusted third-party technology providers to operate app features.

• Firebase Auth, Firestore, Cloud Functions and Firebase Messaging for authentication, data, backend and notifications.
• Google Maps, Routes, Places and Geocoding for maps, routes, location search and distance calculation.
• Cloudinary or similar media storage services for photos and documents.
• Razorpay and Razorpay Route for payments, KYC verification, settlements, payouts and fraud prevention.
• Google Play platform features for app distribution.

Data Sharing

We may share necessary booking details between customers and vehicle owners to complete a booking. We may also share necessary data with payment, payout, cloud, maps, storage, verification, legal and compliance providers as required.

Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user data. However, no digital system is completely secure.

Data Retention

We keep booking, payment, payout, tax, dispute, fraud-prevention, account and legal records as long as needed for business operations, compliance, safety and support.

User Rights

Children's Privacy

4Gear is not intended for children under the legally permitted age for using such platforms.
